CES 2022: Samsung's Ballie Is a Cute and Tiny Robot That Looks After You

Samsung's CES keynote was graced by a very special guest. No, I'chiliad not talking about a glory or tech wiz. Instead, the Korean behemothic brought out on stage a tiny rolling robot dubbed Ballie. This BB8-style robot whizzed onto the stage, greeted everyone, and so showed off its true skill — personal companionship.

Yeah, Ballie isn't simply a play toy that will follow you and your kids around – continue them company while y'all're hard at work. It's designed to take care of all your personal needs, and help yous around the habitation. Samsung has developed Ballie to accept care of you. It has included in this tiny ball-similar robot a myriad of sensors (too as a photographic camera) to observe its surroundings and react pro-actively.

As y'all can run into in the video demo attached above, Ballie will be the showtime one to wake up early on morning in the family unit and shoulder the task of waking everyone else upwards. It will be able to open smart defunction, play a soothing alert, then also prepare coffee to give you lot the start your morning time needs.

Ballie will also take it upon itself to go on you fit. It tin can non only turn on the smart TV and robot vacuum but tin can also call for help if the need arises. Information technology will automatically discover that someone has fallen down and is unable to get up. It will even have care of a pooch and send y'all photos/videos while you are away.

Samsung has currently only shown off this beautiful little robot on stage at its keynote, with zero information on Ballie's toll and availability.
